What is a reader

The ClearReader Basic read-aloud device reads out printed text. A clear voice reads the picture a few seconds after it is taken. There are different versions, mobile for home and on the go and a larger model for on the table where the buttons and speaker are larger.

The ClearReader Basic is convenient device for converting text into speech. Have newspapers, documents and magazines read aloud in different languages, volumes and reading speeds to get the ultimate feeling of comfort and peace of mind.

On the go: Experience the convenience the ClearReader offers, both indoors and outdoors. The ClearReader can be easily moved using the fold-out handle.
Voice options: The ClearReader offers a choice of 59 voices in 31 languages. The available Dutch voices are Claire, Daan and Jasmijn. The easy-to-use buttons allow quick language or voice switching.

My ClearReader+ reading device keeps playing the start-up sound

Starting up the ClearReader+ reading device takes approximately 40 seconds. During the boot process you will hear a series of beeps. If the beeps continue for more than one minute, you can press and hold the power button for about ten seconds to turn off the device. – After a few seconds – restart the device.
